Gosh.
I usually get super amped on this season. I hope that amp happens, but right now, it feels odd to fall into autumn. I can tell things are changing and happening and moving, which can be super pozzy-tron, but at this precise moment it feels unsettling.
Maybe I need to eat something.
I think I am having a hard time letting go of summer. This past one was pretty epic for me (to me). Summer's end is sort of shaking me in a weird way. Of course, lot of people are feeling this, all over the globus, many more severely and urgently, of course of course of course....and I guess there are some ways to lend a hand, however remotely.
I don't really know what else to say about that.

In less globally significant (but microcosmically exciting) news,
Terri Timely finished the video for "I Will Come Again"! It is totally beautiful!!!!! Thank you guys for making such an amazing thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fryk Beat wheels are turning, and the releases will soon come rainbow barfing out at you!!!!!
As previously stated, YACHT and Lucky Dragons remixes are so hott! Plus, I got a sneak peak of the "Victory At Sea" remix by E*rock, and IT IS OFF THE BANANA CHAIN AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!

Look at this epic late October tour in the works!!!

OK, the future is brighter. I feel better already. I think there are these weird, old, familiar feeling spiders creeping up on my back and spinning webs around my feet. That shit is scary, but I think the silk is brittle and so as I lift my legs, they wither and die. Which is nice.

Have you guys seen Hustle and Flow? I haven't, but I am watching this T.I. video from the soundtrack. The movie clips look pretty hot. OH, LIL' SCRAPPPERS?? The prince just hopped up for a minute!
Kanye just had this weird rant on BET Rap City about this concept of "crack music". The producers were tryign to cut him off and go to a video, but he kept talking. He got sort of flustered and ended up not really making that rad of an explanation....but whatever. Kanye. Weird dude. Jon Brion produces that new record? Weird. Maybe it sounds cool? Gosh, guys. Killer week. I had two fun shows in Los Angeles, shared bills with so many rad friends!!!
So great to see Karl and Ciel and Nate and Dave. So fun to rip with Kyler. Those who missed our collabojamm round robin set missed some epic olde times shiz. Loosest goose is so much fun to me! I think it was fun for the audience member as well. Maybe? Man. Yeah. Good seshing with Fieldmouse, we scored some fun 'Bu with homie Steven, ripped some city living, one of us (not me) bummed a ciggy-poo from a certain local comedian/bar patron........
Friday found me northward, through old stomp-ed grounds, to my favorite magic zone, Biggest Sur. I got to sleep in a pull-out, wake up cliffside, surf Fullers with friendly oldster, and watch Steve and Linda get deeply hitched. Whatta couple of sweethearts. Sur is bigger than me. It's nice to remember there is bigger, greener, bluer, cleaner, crispiness. Helps me molt.
It's easy to forget, especially sitting bumper to bumper from Gaviota to Calabasas......but I have 2 little poison oak spots to remind me that trails may still get blazered.

In less cosmic news......there are pictures of me and words about me in some shelf dwelling magazines right now.
One of the magazines shares the name of a celestial body, or gas mass or whatever.
Another is a british magazine about "adventures in music".
Also, get ready to get records from a gnarly new vinyl imprint, Fryk Beat. Panther full length,WHAT????

Go, man, go. What weekend. I spent some powerful days up in the San Francisco-ish zone. The purpose of the trip was to shoot a Bobby Birdman music video. Corey and Ian are the totally incredible homies who make the really beautiful films and music videos under the moniker, Terri Timely. Together with a totally incredible crew of totally incredible humans, much film was shot. Gosh. I am so blown away by the skill, patience, knowledge and cooperation of these folks.
It was a totally totally incredible experience. Totally. This video is totally going to be rad. I will totally keep the winternet posted with updates and more behind the scenes hi-jinx surrounding this video in the coming days....I wanted to post this little update quickly so as to extend the mega epic THAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNK YOOOOOUUU, DEEEEEEEEEEPEST LOVE to all those involved!!!!!
In addition to spending 3 long days with these trooper doggs, I was also able to connect deep game with deep dudes Taeko, Elias, Joyce, Daren and T.Ryan Donnelly, Snegger, Shwartz, Ben, Owen, Jamie, Kate, Ethan, Marie, and a whole slew of Nevada County critters whose names I am omitting out of sheer laziness and haste. So rad to see so many familiar faces!!!!!!!!!
Man, I really liked this bay area of yours this time around. Perhaps more than ever.
Like I said before, I want to post a second, more interactive Bay area post with more pictures and videos and junk. So, like, check back later.

Dude. I am playing a show in a newish space here in Echo Park called Timbrespace on the 10th of June, with east coast homie critters Dave Longstreth and Wind Up Bird. Sooo stoked to see these guys and rip this show!!!!!

Giraffes and Jackals 10 inch is now available from a bunch of spots such as Zum, K, Marriage, Audio Dregs, Amoeba Records (I think just the Hollywood one),Neon Hates You, States Rights and of course Not Not Fun.
