Andrew Kaffer was the creative head of the radical band Kissing Book who put out two wonderful albums on Magic Marker Records. Kaffer has cut off the body and is now just using his legal name to represent his musical ideas. You may remember his great contributions to last years Own Zone compilation. Idle Idol is his first full length solo album and it is a interesting combination of traditional songwriting, cut and paste sound collage, and use of different special sounds.
